Inza is an explosive, yet thoughtful coffee drenched in history. Inza, a micro-region located in Cauca, is a secluded area, that feels as if you’ve stepped back in time when you enter. Over the past few years, we’ve developed an affinity for Inza and the unique coffee that derives from the area. Aside from the pristine beauty of the winding mountainscape, the high elevations, and the cool temperatures found in the valley, like many places, history is imperative to the coffee produced here. Inza, unlike most of Colombia, has preserved increasingly rare varieties like Typica and Bourbon, while also maintaining traditional practices that pair well with the landscape.
This year’s vintage of Inza represents a few families around the village of San Vicente, Inza that produce the refined qualities we love most. The coffee is nostalgic, memorable and district with deep tropical juiciness and pristine clarity throughout.
