The community-loved Party is back on our menu! This bright, expressive naturally processed Ethiopian coffee offers big, fun flavors that you don’t find in washed-processed coffees. Natural coffees are made by drying the coffee with the cherry still intact, allowing the bean to soak in the fruit during fermentation. This process started in Ethiopia because of limited access to water and the dry climate. Over the past few decades, natural-processed coffee has been integrated into many growing areas all across the world.
Southern Ethiopia is a prime location for natural coffees to shine. With high elevations, dry climate, and rare varieties, these coffees can be wildly juicy and compelling when processed correctly. We’ve been working with a handful of partners and tasting through dozens of coffees to find the ones that are perfect for Party. We’re always looking for a coffee that’s exciting and fruit-forward while still clean enough to showcase terroir. We tasted quite a few samples before we came across the coffee that was perfectly suited to Party.
