Each year we look forward to releasing the fan-favorite Party, and this year is no exception. Always a natural processed coffee from Ethiopia, this year’s Party hails from the Gogogu community in Uraga, Ethiopia. In an area known for being relatively new to producing coffee with very high elevations, the farmers are considered “garden” farmers due to the 3-5 hectare size of their farms. Once the coffee cherries are brought to the processing sites, they are hand sorted and laid out in thin layers on raised beds.
The art to producing great natural coffee is in tending to the coffee through the duration of the drying process to achieve the desired flavor, and we think Gogogu is a shining example. Enjoy notes of black cherry, sweet peach jam, and strawberries as an exciting espresso or iced coffee.
