98 Monroe Collection
A tribute to where it all began: 98 Monroe Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Opened in 2008, our Monroe cafe was the very first Madcap flag in the ground. There, we began our roasting journey (in the basement!), developed and dialed in our renowned standard of hospitality, and met many of our then regulars, now old friends, at 98 Monroe.
From its iconic jewel-toned tiles to its towering ceiling and windows, our Monroe cafe has captured the adoration of many. We still get excited to be in the background of all your photos taken at the cafe, and we’re honored to be a part of all the special moments you share with us, big or small. Whether you’re a seasoned regular guest or a passing traveler, thank you for sharing some of your time with us over the last 16 years.
